In September, the Latin American Relief Fund sponsored the Faces of the Migrants exhibit at Casa Europa in San Miguel de Allende.
Photojournalist Jennifer Moran spent a year photographing and interviewing migrants at ABBA House for the powerful exhibit and invited seven other local artists to show their work relating to migrants and migration.
More than 300 people came to the opening night party and hundreds more came through during the month of September and early October, including a delegation of European ambassadors. It culminated in a special private showing and pizza party for the residents of ABBA House whose photos were on exhibit. Afterwards, they went over to the Jardin and enjoyed their day in San Miguel.
