The Latin American Relief Fund assists migrants and refugees traveling through Mexico, including supporting Albergue ABBA,
a migrant shelter in Celaya, Guanajuato.
Albergue ABBA is a migrant shelter in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.
ABBA means "father" in Hebrew and symbolizes the caring nature of founder, Pastor Ignacio Martínez Ramírez, who offers migrants a temporary stay in a safe environment. While there, migrants receive meals, medical and psychological assistance, and information and assistance for applying for asylum in Mexico.
We've raised the money to buy Albergue ABBA's building but the work is not complete. Necessary renovations and continued maintenance mean ongoing expenses. Together, we can help preserve the dignity, safety and human rights of so many who are often forgotten.
LARF is a US 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
All profits from the sale of the Humanity Ring support LARF's mission of helping migrants in crisis.
